Liberty Professionals FC head coach Reginald Asante Boateng says he wants his team to finish the ongoing Normalization Committee Special Competition on a high note.
The scientific soccer lads recorded an impressive 2-0 victory over Inter Allies at the Tema Sports Stadium on Wednesday to extend their unbeaten run to 5 games.
Two first half goals from George Ansong and Francis Owusu gave the Dansoman based side their first away win of the competition and speaking after the game, Reginald Asante expressed delight about his team’s performance.
” It was a good game”, he said.
“Technically and Tactically our boys were ahead of Inter Allies. But it was a good game especially playing on the Astro Turf.
“For most of our boys, it was a first time experience but we came here purposely to win because the competition is getting to its latter stages and every body is giving his best”, the young trainer added.
Liberty Professionals FC are currently lying 3rd on the table in Group B behind Hearts of Oak and Karela United and with two games to go, Reginald Asante is living no stone unturned.
“The operation was to win our last three games and we are on course”, he said.
“Our next game is against Dwarfs away from home and with the way our boys have been tactivally discipline, we have a chance”, Asante concluded.
Reginald Asante’s charges will be on the road again this weekend against Ebusua Dwarfs who are currently serving a stadium ban before wrapping up the group stages of the NC special competition with a home game against WAFA Football Club.
