The willy Belgian trainer who was appointed as head coach of the South Africa senior national team on Wednesday emphasized that he is now going to put up a younger squad and qualification to the World Cup in Qatar won’t be realistic.
“Now with South Africa having not qualified for the next AFCON, this is the moment to build a new and younger team.” He stated during his unveiling
“This team may struggle to qualify for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar but may be ready for the next AFCON.”
