Arbiter football administrator Abdul Salam Yakubu has send a word of an advice to club owners in Ghana.
President of former premier league side, New Edubiase United says, referees in part of West Africa are manipulated by club administrators and should there be a remedy to the war faced in Ghana, football administrators should resist from interfering in the activities of Referees Association of Ghana (RAG) and it appointment committee.
“Club Chairmen use to lobby for referees to be appointed for particular games”They have wasted lots of money on referees”.
Salam continued saying, club Chairmen and referees should act professionally going forward.
“The club owners and referees should be professional in their dealings going forward”, he told Accra based radio Asempa FM.
“My advise to all the Club Chairmen is that they should stop influencing the Referees Appointment Commitee and allow the referees to do their job”.
