Spanish international of Ghanaian descent Nico Williams has extended his contract with Athletic Bilbao.
The 21 years old striker has shown extreme potency on the field since his promotion to the senior side of Athletic Bilbao three years ago.
Nico Williams who also doubles as the biological brother of Black Star forward Inaki Williams has extended his contract till 2027. Nico Williams is yet to score this season for the Athletic Bilbao. However, the budding talent was on the score sheet when Spain engaged Georgia in the European qualification Championship.
The Inaki brothers have repeated history just like the Boateng brothers in 2010, where Jerome played for Germany and Kevin for the Black Stars.
Nico Williams visited Ghana in the summer of 2022 with his brother.
