Sky Bet League Two side Crawley Town have announced the loan signing of striker Tobi Adeyemo from Championship side Watford.
Adeyemo joined Watford’s youth system in October 2018 after earlier trials with leading academies. He continued his development with the club and began a two-year scholarship with Watford’s academy in July 2021.
To gain senior experience, Adeyemo joined Southern League Premier Division Central side Hitchin Town on a work-experience loan in November 2022, with the spell later extended into January 2023. His progress was rewarded soon after, as he made his professional debut for Watford on 7 January 2023, coming on as a substitute in an FA Cup third-round defeat away to Reading.
One week later, Adeyemo made his EFL Championship debut at Vicarage Road and marked the occasion in memorable fashion, scoring his first professional goal just four minutes after being introduced from the bench in a 2–0 victory over Blackpool.
In March 2024, Adeyemo joined National League side Wealdstone on loan until the end of the season, continuing his development through regular first-team football.
This deal is subject to EFL approval.
