Premier League champions Wa All Stars General Manager Seth Panwum has described outgoing sports Minister Edwin Nii Lante Vanderpuye as a demotivator adding he was completely a non development oriented person.
Nii Lante’s office saw a unsavoury relationship between the Nation’s football governing body [GFA] and the sports ministry particularly with the Black Stars monetary issues and Panwum believes this impasse couldn’t help sports in the country.
Nii Lante was never a development oriented person.He told sportsworldghana.com via phone call.
”For me I was surprised his constituency made such a mistake by returning him to parliament. He wanted to collapse all sports disciplines in this country. Ghana sports would have come to a total collapse under his watch.
He was a demotivator and never helped our various national teams most especially the female national teams.Just look at what is happening to the Female national teams, he has failed to pay all their allowances owed them which is a very bad precedent and shouldn’t the embraced at all.
Thank God there’s a change of government and I want to believe that things will work perfectly under the NPP’s administration” He added.
He however remained confident that the New Patriotic Party [NPP] government will restore hope in Ghana sports and Ghana will work again.
