Nkana FC Coach Beston Chambeshi has hailed Asante Kotoko’s despite his side posting a 3-1 win over the Ghanaian side at the Kitwe stadium on Sunday.
Goals from Kelvin Kampamba and Freddy Tshmenga ensured the Zambian champions defeated Kotoko to record their second victory in the ongoing Caf Confederation Cup.
The hosts looked more purposeful and capitalized on some defensive errors from Kotoko to clinch maximum points.
“Nkana playing Asante Kotoko was not going to be easy for us. They are a good team with a good technical staff,” he said after the game.
“However, we prepared very well for this game because we understood the importance of getting the three points.”
The former Zambia U20 Coach will lead his side to Kumasi for the reverse leg on Sunday 3rd March, 2019.
