Black Stars defender John Boye has been named in CAF’s top XI list of the 2019 Cup of Nations qualifier opening matches.
Boye who netted Ghana’s second goal in a five nil drubbing over Ethiopia became the only Black Stars player to make the top eleven list released by the Confederation of African Football [CAF].
Despite Captain scoring his 50th international goal he failed to make the cut with Andew Ayew also being snubbed by CAF.
Ebenezer Ofori who struck a sumptuous goal after showing an incredible form in the delight to watch was not named in the list.
Seydou Doubia of Ivory Coast, Cedric Bakambu of Dr. Congoand Bertrand Traore of Burkina Faso all made the top XI list.
Other players included are Seydou Doumbia of the Ivory Coast, Senegal’s Moussa Sow, Knowlede Musona of Zimbabwe, Pajlun Voavy from Seychelles, DR Congo midfielder Cedric Bakanbu and Uganda’s Dennis Oyango.
