Chief Executive Office and Bank roller of Lady Strikers Football Club Benjamin Kojo Taylor says his investment into women football has not gone waste.
Lady strikers on Saturday defeated Police Ladies 2-1 to emerge winners of the Southern Zone of the Ghana’s women’s league with 28 points at the end of 13 league games.
They are billed to face Ampem Darkoa who are winners of the Northern Zone with 31 points in the Champions of Champions final in a later date.
Speaking after his sides victory, Benjamin Kojo Taylor insists putting his resource in the women’s game has paid off.
“Women’s football in the country is on the rise and so we want all stakeholders to help push it up there”
