Ghanaian striker Isaac Atanga has expressed delight after registering his first goal in 11 games for FC Nordsjaelland in their 1-1 draw against OB in the Danish Super Liga on Sunday.
The attacker shot the visitors ahead in the 55th minute.
That was his first goal for the club since scoring on March 8th this season.
“When I received the ball from Rygaard, I saw that OB’s goalkeeper came out. If I shot it flat, I knew he would take it with his legs. So I tried to lob it over him instead,” he said after the game.
“And when I saw that it went in goal, it was the best feeling I have had for a very long time. It’s been a long time since I’ve scored. So of course I was very happy,” he added.
