Alanyaspor’s Ghanaian defender, Nuru Suley has return to training after successfully undergoing treatment from an ankle injury that has kept him out of action for the past month and a half.
The former Hearts of Oak man sustained the injury in his side’s first game of Turkish top flight [against Besiktas] following their promotion from the second tier via the play-offs last season.
But having been on the sideline since August 20, Nuru Suley started physical training last week and the 24-year old is set to join the rest of the Alanyaspor squad after the international break.
“Everything here is going on well but I had an injury on my right ankle in our first game against Besiktas. I am currently on my road to recovery but Alhamdulillahi, I am almost fit to join the team now”, Nuru told Sportsworldghana.com from his base in Turkey.
He added that, “I started physical training with the physical trainer last week and that’s what I did all week long”.
Nuru Suley also expressed optimism that he will be back on the pitch after the international break.
“I can’t say when I will be back playing until I catch the attention of the coaches because I have been left out for a full month and a half due to the injury.
“But I am walking hard to to come back in full force and to take my position after the international break”, Nuru Suley concluded.
Alanyaspor are currently lying 11th on the Turkish Super Lig standings after registering just two wins and a draw in the opening six games of the season.
The Alanya based club have not picked a single point in their last three outings and Nuru’s recovery comes as a good news for manager Huseyin Kalpar.
