Center-back Nuru Sulley regret rejoining Ghana Premier League giant Accra Hearts of Oak SC after returning from abroad last season.
The club and the player parted ways not long ago and the defender is not happy to have joined the Phobians on his return to Ghana.
He joined El-Nasr Benghazi in Libya after making 20 appearances and scoring three goals in three years for the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League and FA CUP winners in 2014.
On his return to the club, the 27-year-old defender was a key role player for Hearts as they won both the GPL title and the MTN FA Cup last season.
Sulley seemed to be very disappointed about how his playing time or deal ended up with Hearts of Oak after his second coming.
“First of all, I would say returning to Hearts of Oak did not help me because I came with a good heart so that the team can help me and to also get call up into the national team though I had a lot of offers from other Arab countries I wanted my name to be in the national team. I came with a good heart checking the wages at that time. It wasn’t good because of the presence of the COVID but I was able to sacrifice myself. Reporting with my fuel(s) always without paying back but not all of the issues have to be revealed”,ghanasportspage.com.
“All the same am just focusing on my career, for now, they failed me but I just wish the team the best of luck and I don’t whether know I may come back in the future as a player or for a managerial role. The team has helped me a lot because they helped me to come out as Nuru Sulley to be where I am today. I wish them the best of luck.” He concluded.
