Ghana Premier League newcomers, Accra Lions have completed their second signing of the transfer window ahead of their campaign in the top-flight.
Accra Lions on Wednesday made official the transfer of youngster Abass Samari Salifu. The midfielder joins the newly promoted side from Division One side Young Apostles FC.
The club recently confirmed the capture of Evans Eenee as they first signing for the season and have now moved quickly to secure the services of the Ghanaian teenager.
A statement on the club’s official Facebook page read: Accra Lions Football Club have completed the signing of 17-year-old midfielder Abass Samari Salifu. The highly talented teenager joins us from Division One League side Young Apostles FC.
Sporting Director for Accra Lions Rainer Kraft added: “Abass is a hard-working, skillful midfielder with very good anticipation. It’s great to have him with us.”
Abass Samari Salifu is expected to play a big role for the club when the Premier League season commences in October.
