Lamptey was impressive for Inter Allies during the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season despite the club suffering relegation into the Division One League.
The midfield maestro racked up three goals for the Tampico lads in 27 league appearances, including an absolute belter against Accra Hearts of Oak in a one all drawn game. The 24-year-old also provided two assists and walked away with four ‘Man of the Match’ awards during that time.
Lamptey made the move to Allies in 2018 from WAFA on a free transfer before establishing himself as one of the best players for the Accra-based club.
However, he will now provide his services for the Porcupine Warriors, who are determined to continue from where they left off last season.
