FC Porto striker Abdul Majeed Waris has joined Nantes FC on a season-long loan with a view to a permanent transfer, SportsworldGhana, com can report.
The 26-year-old has returned to France after a short spell with the Portuguese giants.
Waris, who has played for Lorient and Valenciennes, has put pen-to-paper after completing formalities on Monday.
He deal includes an option to buy after the loan spell.
He is expected to revive his career in the Lique after his struggles at the Dragões.
The Ghana international signed a four-year deal with the Dragons this summer but has been forced to move out after he was left out of the squad for the new season by manager Sergio Conceicao.
Waris struggled to churn out regular playing time when he joined Porto on loan in January making only five appearances.
