Dutch Second tier Side Mvv Maastricht have completed the signing of youngster Prince Asumah Abubakar of Ghanaian origin on a 2-year deal, SportsworldGhana.com can confirm.
The 21-year has signed 2-year contract on a free transfer to the Red and white family in Holland.
The young forward who has experience at Eredivisie level featured 16 times for Willem II after a successful trial in the 2016.
He has already played for Portugal U19 at the European Championship in Germany in 2016 with two games with a goal to his credit.
Asumah made 16 appearances in all over two seasons, 15 of which came last term for Willem II.
Coach Ron Elsen said “Abubakar is a fast attacker, who has an eye for the goal. A boy with a lot of potential. He has experience at Eredivisie level and played in representative teams for Portugal. We are glad that we were able to get him to Maastricht. Now he will have to show that he has returned completely after his annoying fibula injury. “
