Ghanaian defender Emmanuel Twumasi has signed a two-year contract with Polish league giants Piast Gliwice.
The 28-year-old defender joins the club on a free transfer after leaving MLS side FC Dallas.
While in the USA, Twumasi defended the colors of FC Dallas, and in Gliwice he signed a two-year contract. He is the third player acquired by Piast during the summer break. Earlier, contracts were signed by French midfielder Quentin Boisgard (most recently Cypriot Apollon Limassol) and Spanish striker Adrian Dalmau (Korona Kielce).
In the new season of the Ekstraklasa, Piast players will be led by 40-year-old Swedish coach Max Moelder, who replaced Aleksandar Vukovic.
Ghanaian defender Emmanuel Twumasi has joined Polish top-league side Piast Gliwice, the club announced.
The 28-year-old defender previously played in the American MLS league and has been without a club since January.
Gliwice finished the last season in 10th place. In March, the Serbian coach announced that he would not extend his contract and would leave the club after 2.5 years.
