FC St. Pauli have officially announced the signing of Ghanaian attacker Daniel Kofi Kyereh on a three-year deal after parting ways with relegated club SV Weisbaden at the ended season.
The Ghanaian sensation impresses greatly at the club during his one week assessment sessions and has now been offered a deal ahead of the 2020/21 season.
Head coach Timo Schultz said “Kofi is an absolute asset to our offensive game. He is a goal-scoring and strong player who can be used flexibly and thus offers us tactical and playful opportunities in our attacking game. And that’s exactly what I expect from him: that he brings his strengths – as well as his risk of scoring – to us. We look forward to him!”
“When I ran into the Millerntor for the first time last season, I already noticed how extraordinary this club is. I also identify with the values that St. Pauli represents one hundred percent. I I am really happy that the change went smoothly and that those responsible took care of me so early. I am curious about what will come and I am sure that we will develop well as a team, especially with these fans in the back.” said Kofi Kyereh.
The VfL Wolfsburg U19 graduate had 28 appearances for SV Wehen during the 2019/20 league season and struck six times with 7 assists to his name.
