Dutch Eredivisie side Go Ahead Eagles have announced the signing of Ghanaian midfielder Shadrach Eghan on a two-year deal.
Eagles have won the push to sign the talented attacking midfielder cum winger who attracted lenses from several clubs.
The former FC Twente prodigy joins from Danish side Vendsyssel FF where he was on loan.
He is expected to join the team’s pre-season which starts next week.
The former Ghana Under-20 midfielder has played the last two seasons on loan at Stabaek IF (Norway) and Vendsyssel (Denmark).
“Because of his young age and detailed resume competed several clubs to his signature,” says technical manager Dennis Bekking.
He added “In recent weeks we have had very intensive talks with Shadrach. He was open to our story, was very interested in our plans for him. Shadrach is a very ambitious professional. He has proven that he has a lot of potential, but he also had to deal with setbacks.”
