Benjamin Yorke has become the latest addition to the Accra Hearts of Oak squad for the next season, the club has officially confirmed.
Yorke joins the Rainbow club from Division One league side Samartex after an impressive season in the just ended campaign.
The highly-rated youngster scored 12 goals and provided four assists in 24 matches in the Zone Two of the 2020/21 Division One League .
He was part of the Black Stars B squad that failed to qualify for the last CHAN tournament which was held in Cameroon.
Yorke’s addition to the Hearts team is massive boost for coach Samuel Boadu, who aims at breaking the jinx around the Ghanaian clubs in Africa in recent times.
Yorke wasn’t registered for the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League as the deal was completed after the August 16 deadline.
However, the forward is expected to play a key role for Samuel Boadu’s side in the Ghana Premier League and the MTN FA Cup.
