Ghanaian midfielder Leon Ampadu has completed a move to SV Sandhausen, joining the Regionalliga Südwest side from Borussia Mönchengladbach’s U23 team.
The 23-year-old, who had a contract with Gladbach running until 2026, now embarks on a new chapter in his career as he seeks more first-team opportunities and regular minutes at a competitive level.
Ampadu’s move is seen as a strategic step forward in his development, with Sandhausen eager to add his energy, vision, and midfield versatility to their squad ahead of the upcoming season.
