Mali is second with 4 points in Group l of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers after beating Chad and drawing with Central Africa Republic at Bamako.
In their 3rd game of the group, the Eagles of Mali have confirmed that they will host the Black Stars of Ghana in Bamako at the Stade du 26 Mars on 6th June.
It is a must-win for the Malians because they have yet to play any away game in the group.
Their opponents Black Stars struggled in their first two games of the qualifiers with a narrow 1-0 win over Madagascar and morale killing 1-0 defeat against lowly Comoros.
Mali will open a four-point gap between themselves and Ghana if they can defeat the Black Stars who will likely be their main challengers for the slot even though Comoros have proven that they can challenge the two big nations by winning their first two games and leading the group at the moment.
Mali in MD4 will travel to Madagascar on 11th June in their first away game of the qualifiers.
