Medeama SC midfielder, Malik Akowuah has joined Ghana Premier League Giants Accra Hearts of Oak, the club have confirmed.
The highly rated midfielder signed a three-year contract with the Phobians on Monday.
“Accra Hearts of Oak is delighted to announce the signing of Malik Akowuah from Medeama. The midfielder has signed a three-year deal with the club”, a Club statement read.
According to local media reports, Hearts agreed to pay Medeama a transfer fee of ¢70,000 for the Akowuah who is expected to take home a salary of about ¢1,800 after tax.
After finally landing their man, Public Relations Officer of Accra Hearts of Oak said: “Malik is one of the best players in the country at the moment and it gives us great pleasure to have him with us. He is a very good midfielder and I am confident he will be a great player for us”
