Agyemang becomes the second signing for Kotoko ahead of the new season which kicks off next month, having already confirmed the capture of Richmond Lamptey from Inter Allies earlier this week.
The well-built central defender played 27 games for Might Royals in the Division One League last season, scoring three goals and providing another three assists.
Maxwell Agyemang was also named as Man of the Match on one occasion in the second tier division of the Ghanaian football.
Kotoko are looking to bounce back to trophy-winning ways and are prepared to beef up the squad for the upcoming season, hence the addition of Agyemang to the team.
