Sarfo has endured a torrid time in the last three years following his incarceration in Sweden for two counts of child rape, a Malmo District Court ruled in June 2018.
After he was released from Prison, Olympiakos Nicosia offered the Ghanaian a lifeline of which he has largely impressed and is looking to relaunch his career.
Currently on holidays in Ghana after the Cyprus league came to a conclusion, Sarfo has offered insight on his plans before he retires from playing active football.
“I hope to play for Asante Kotoko before the end of my career because Frank Sarfo Gyamfi is my uncle and I would like to follow his footsteps,” Kingsley Sarfo told Kumasi based OTEC FM.
“Otumfuo is my King and I’m ready to serve the club with all my hearts” he ended.
The left-footed forward is certainly not the first to have announced his intentions of playing the twilight of his career at Asante Kotoko with the likes of Michael Essien and most recently Asamoah Gyan – who is currently playing for Legon Cities – all declaring their desire to don the Red jersey
Sarfo has in the past played for Malmö FF, Rosengård, BW 90, and IK Sirius all in Sweden.
