Samuel Amissah, the 19-year-old English-born Ghanaian centre-back at Fulham FC, has reportedly attracted interest from Olympique de Marseille ahead of the summer transfer window.
Although Amissah has yet to make his professional debut for Fulham, he has impressed in the club’s under-21 squad, starting all 20 matches this season and earning a spot on the bench during a December 2024 draw at Tottenham Hotspur.
His performances have also caught the attention of top European clubs, including Ajax, Juventus, Arsenal, Manchester United, and Chelsea FC.
A potential move to Marseille could follow the path of CJ Egan-Riley, who joined the French club on a free transfer last summer and has already made an impact in Ligue 1. For Amissah, the switch would offer first-team experience in a competitive European league, while Marseille would secure a highly rated young defender.
With multiple clubs circling and his Fulham contract set to expire at season’s end, the summer window could prove pivotal for Amissah’s breakthrough into senior football.
