Kwame Opoku scored his first ever official goal for USM Alger on his debut during a Cup game against rivals MC Alger as USMA won 2-0 on May 8th this year but since that time the former Asante Kotoko attacker has drawn blank in four games.
In the games against Saoura, Tlemcen, Medea and Constantine , Opoku failed to score in combined minutes of 326 as the striker marked his first difficult period since taking his football career to the North African country.
The Ghanaian forward has since not been part of the match-day squads during the last two games of his team – the quarter-final tie against Medea in the Cup competition which USMA won and the semifinal defeat against Magra.
Kwame Opoku during his last game played at USMA : a 0-0 draw against Constantine.
