Ghanaian forward William Opoku-Mensah is happy after netting a hat trick against newly promoted side Etoile de l’est in the Rwandan Premier League.
The former Karela United striker banged in three goals and was by far the man of the match as his club got back on track with a convincing 4-0 win over the minnows.
“I am feeling great after netting my first hat trick in the ongoing campaign.” Opoku-Mensah told Newtimes Sport
“I have been working very hard in training and I’m not surprised about the hat trick. It is as a result of what I do, I am going to push extra harder for more goals.”
Opoku-Mensah scored in the 9th, 27th and 90th minute as Djibrine Hassan added the other goal for the Huye based club.
This is the second time Opoku-Mensah has netted a hat trick for Mukura Victory as last season his three goals against AS Muhanga helped his team to escape relegation.
