GFA Exco member Frederick Acheampong has stated that he was disappointed with Otto Addo’s performance at the 2022 World Cup.
The Black Stars finished bottom of Group H after losing to Portugal and Uruguay under Otto Addo.
Acheampong believes Addo didn’t perform to expectations.
“We all admit that the team did not do well at the World Cup before you say anything and so I agree with the statement by the Ghana Football Association [GFA],” the AshantiGold SC CEO said on Kessben FM.
“We all wanted to win the trophy but the expectation was that we wanted to do better compared to the last World Cup but the coach [Otto Addo]was a disappointment.
“Some of us had believed in him but we did not see what we were told. What we were told never manifested,” he added.
