Otto Addo has seen his side suffer another setback after Ghana lost 2-1 to Germany in an international friendly, extending their winless run ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
Germany took the lead just before halftime when Kai Havertz converted from the penalty spot after a handball decision against Jonas Adjetey. The hosts had dominated much of the first half, creating several chances but failing to extend their advantage early on.
Ghana responded strongly after the break, with Abdul Fatawu Issahaku scoring in the 70th minute to restore parity following a well-worked move.
However, the Black Stars were unable to hold on, as Deniz Undav struck late in the game to seal victory for Germany.
The result leaves Ghana without a win in four matches, raising concerns about consistency despite some signs of improvement. With crucial World Cup group stage fixtures against Panama, Croatia, and England approaching, the team continues to search for form at a critical time.
