Assistant coach of Aduana Stars W. O. Tandoh has admitted that their 2-0 shocking loss to ASEC Memosas in the CAF confederations Cup group stage match was due to bad coaching tactics deployed by Aduana Stars on the day.
Aduana Stars suffered their first home loss in a continental competition since 2009 and Tandoh blames it on bad tactics from the technical bench with Kenichi Yatsuhashi as head coach.
Anicet Badie scored from the spot in the 24th minute before Braciano Ta Bi increased the tally few minutes to half time.
“Our loss to ASEC was due to bad tactics, there was a variation in our normal formation when playing at home and that blame is to the entire technical bench”, Tandoh told Kumasi based FOX FM on Tuesday.
Regarding reports that Aduana captain Yahaya Mohammed fought a supporter of the club after the 2-0 defeat to ASEC on Sunday, Tandoh declined to comment saying, he never saw that happen.
