Asante Kotoko head coach Frimpong Manso admits his side did not play well to deserve a victory against struggling Accra Great Olympics in their Premier League week 14 fixture where they lost 2-0 at the Accra sports stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The former Karela FC trainer adds he is struggling to point out exactly what is wrong with the Porcupine Warriors which have seen them gone winless in seven matches.
Speaking after the game Manso said” We didn’t play well especially in the first half, nothing seems to be working for us on the day”
Quizzed whether his team lost as a result of the players not giving up their best on the field he stressed” We’ve tried everything but it seems not to be working for us, Sometimes you feel like is going to be this weekend but then it is getting worst.
He continued ”For me yes I think I meet a situation but it has been very difficult turning things around I must be honest because you can pinpoint what exactly the problem is now. Those problems we suspected we tried solving them but in doing so we get different problems”.
”Technically we’ve tried all that we could but it seems not to be working for us and management wise they don’t owe the players so I don’t know what really the problem is”.
