World football icon Abedi Ayew Pele has poured out words of admiration and respect to retiring Ghana legend Asamoah Gyan.
The Three Time Africa Footballer of the Year winner, added his voice to the various active and former players sending their heartfelt gratitude to the former Ghana captain.
“Passion wasn’t a mistake to know you Baby jet! Enjoy your retirement monko @ASAMOAH_GYAN3. Ghana is proud 🙏. Legend!!!!!!!!” he tweeted.
Gyan played at six different Africa Cup of Nations tournament and scored eight goals for the Black Stars team and played in two finals.
Gyan was the fulcrum of the Black Stars team in his illustrious playing career and took Ghana twice to the finals in the Africa Cup of Nations tournaments losing to Egypt and Ivory Coast in 2010 and 2015.
