Patrick Razak returned to the country relaunched his football career after failing to make it at Guinean club Horoya AC which he joined in October 2018 and now Hearts of Oak has confirmed the talented player will not win a deal straight away with the team of Togbe Afede XIV.
Horoya terminated the contract of Razak in November last year after failing to break into the first team of the Guinean club and according to the Hearts of Oak Spokesperson Kwame Opare Addo the pacy winger is currently on trials at his former club.
Razak formed part of the 2017 team of coach Frank Nuttal that reached the MTN FA Cup finals and finished 3rd in the league but he still has to prove why he must be retaken by the Ghanaian giants.
“Everyone knows that Razak was is our former player. He was with us before he went to Horoya. He has come back and has joined us for training for the coaches to properly assess him. We need to assess him to see his fitness level and his football quality to see if he can help us this season” Opare Addo told Wontumi Radio on Tuesday.
Hearts of Oak coach Nii Odoom made a big statement that the Phobians are going to win the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League that kicks off next month.
The winners of the 2000 CAF Champions League have lost two key members of the first team of last season namely Joseph Esso and Kofi Kordzi.
Meanwhile young striker Isaac Mensah who joined from Nkoranza Warriors is expected to play a big part for Hearts of Oak this season.
