English born Ghanaian left-back Paul Osew is pleased after appearing in fifty games for League 1 side Wimbledon.
The 21-year-old defender reached that milestone last week during his club’s 2-2 draw with Wycombe Wanderers and he is happy with his success so far.
“Hitting 50 appearances is definitely a big thing for me. I can only thank the staff for believing in me and the players getting me through it. I was nervous when I first came in, but here it’s a family – you don’t feel left out or an outsider.” Osew told South London Press
“My family and everyone was proud of me, and I was proud of myself as well.”
“It’s been a long and rocky journey but I am still young. I have more to give and more in my locker. I still have a lot to improve on.” He added.
Osew was born in Wandsworth to Ghanaian parents and he is yet to be capped by Ghana or England at any level.
