Ghanaian striker Peter Agblevor was the hero of the day on Thursday as he netted a brace in Etoile de l’est 2-2 draw with giants APR FC at the Ngoma Stadium.
The young Ghanaian attacker who was signed by the newly promoted club opened the scoring in the 10th minute with a fine finish before adding his second three minutes later as the champions begun to chase the game.
Agblevor remained a torn in the flesh of the APR defenders and they always had to come on him in pairs anytime he had the ball.
APR fought back with goals from Mugunga Yves and Bizimana Yannick as the game ended in a draw.
Agblevor has now netted four goals in the Rwandan Premier League so far this season.
