Accra Hearts of Oak eliminated Guinea side CI Kamsar in their CAF Champions League one-off tie at the Accra Sports stadium last Sunday.
The Phobians won 2-0 thanks to two late goals from substitutes Kofi Kordzi and Salim Adams.
The team coached by Samuel Boadu will now face Moroccan giants Wydad Athletic Club commonly known as WAC of Morocco. The first leg in Accra is slated between 15 to 17 October.
WAC won the Morocco league last season with 67 points after 30 games whilst Hearts of Oak did same in Ghana with 61.
Meanwhile the 2021/22 Morocco Botola Pro League has started already with WAC recording two victories out of two games played. The North African team has scored 4 goals whilst conceding none. The wins have come against IR Tanger and Rapide Oued Zem.
The 2021/22 Ghana Premier League does not commence until October 29th by which time the two games between the Phobians and WAC would have been completed already.
