Phoenix Rising to offer Kontor new contract

American second-tier club Phoenix Rising are set to give Ghanaian defender Owusu-Ansah Kontor a fresh deal following the expiration of his deal.

Kontor, 27, joined Phoenix Rising Stars from Orange City County in December 2019 and was been able to make eight appearances in all competitions in the just-ended season.

Sportsworldghana.com understands that coach Rick Schantz is keep on him and wants to offer him a new one year deal as they seek to qualify to the MLS next season.
