Accra Hearts of Oak defeated Bechem United 3-2 in match day 10 of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Striker Kofi Kordzi netted a last minute goal to ensure the Phobians clinched all three points in the crucial clash which almost ended in a 2-2 stalemate.
Youngster Prince Adu Kwabena shocked the hosts following when he struck on the 28th minute to hand Hunter’s the lead.
Captain Fatawu Mohammed steered Hearts of Oak into the lead with a 63rd minute strike but Hazif, who was returning from injury, restored parity for Bechem United once.
Striker Joseph Esso and Kofi Kordzi missed good chances to put the Phobians ahead in the last 10 minutes of the game.
Just when the visitors thought they had picked a point at the Accra Sports Stadium, Kofi Kordzi headed home to power Edward Nii Odoom’s side to a sweet 3-2 victory to send them to 15 points on the league log.
