Turkish top-flight side Kasımpaşa SK have unveiled Ghanaian midfielder Gilbert Koomson who has joined them on a three-year deal in the ongoing summer transfer window.
Koomson completed the move after passing a mandatory medical in Istanbul on Monday night, putting an end to all speculation about his future.
The talented forward moved from Norwegian side elite division club Brann to join the Turkish capital-based team.
No official transfer fee has been stated either, but as far but reports in Turkey suggest the transfer fee should be around $600,000.
“I love Brann, I have been loyal, but now I want to leave,” Koomson said week after absenting himself from Brann training.
Although Brann have not formally announced the exit of the player, Kasimpa SK have gone ahead to announce their signing of Koomson.
Koomson departs Brann after two seasons and he is currently the club’s top scorer, netting eight times this season.
