West Ham Under 23 goalkeeper Joseph Anang says the biggest moment in his career is being called to the English Under 20 team.
The youngster who is of Ghanaian parentage was called up by England for an Under 20 team against Iceland on November 19, 2019 in which he played the final eleven minutes and according to him is a moment he will forever savor.
“The best moment of my career was when I got an England U20 call-up.” Anang told his club’s website.
“My best keeper of all time is Edwin van der Sar – I liked him before I even became a ‘keeper.”
Annan who trained with the senior side a couple of times this ended campaign also stressed that he has learnt to be calm and get the fundamentals right in his career.
“This season especially has taught me to be patient and do all the basics properly.” He added.
Annan played a total of 19 Premier League games conceding 39 goals and keeping two clean sheets as his side finished eleventh on the table.
