Arsenal FC star midfielder, Thomas Partey has described the English Premier League as ‘not easy’ competition after his first season with the North London club.
The former Atletico Madrid player had a lot of injury concerns after making the big money move to the Red and Whites outfit from the 2021 La Liga Champions.
In an interview on TV3, the former Tema Youth player said after a difficult season, he’s still getting used to his teammates but relishes the challenge ahead of the upcoming season.
“There were so many ups and downs this season and as it was my first season I still had to study my mates and adjust to their style of which I believe I would be doing better next season.”
“It’s not easy, that’s one of the best leagues in the world and if you want to be there, you have to be able to do everything well, so I like this challenge, and I’m ready to do everything”,he added.
The 28-year-old made 24 appearances in the Premier League and made two assists but is yet to get his Arsenal debut goal and played eight times in the UEFA Europa League.
