Yet to be capped Ghanaian defender, Khalid Abdul Mumin Suleman has opened up about why he left Danish side FC Nordsjaelland last summer.
The 22-year-old lanky and calm defender left the Danish top-flight team FC Nordsjaelland to join Portugal Primera Liga side, Vitoria Guimarães in a shocking move despite being chased by some big European clubs.
Speaking to godfred.substack.com in an exclusive interview, Mumin explained that reason behind his move to the Black and Whites after leaving the Wild Tigers after his contract with the club expired.
“I needed a new experience. I had gotten too comfortable after four years and I felt that needed to change”, he stated.
He further revealed that he had learned everything he needed to know at the club and needed to move on to acquire new skills and experience from somewhere else.
“I had learnt all that they could teach and I felt I needed to learn from more experienced players”, he added.
Abdul Mumin Suleman graduated from the Right to Dream Academy before he busted into the scenes in Denmark and making a mark before moving to Portugal in 2020.
