Ghanaian teen forward Kelvin Ofori featured for Fortuna Dusseldorf as they were held to a 2-2 draw at home by TSG Hoffenhiem in the German Bundesliga on Saturday at the Merkur Spiel Arena.
Ofori,18, introduced into the game to replace Valon Berisha in the 66th minute of the game.
His standout performance in today game, marked his second game for Fortuna Dusseldorf in his debut season.
Meanwhile, his compatriots Bernard Tekpetey, Nana Opoku Ampomah and Kassim Adams, have struggled to command regular playing time at the club.
Ofori was promoted to Dusseldorf’s senior team after a short stint with the club’s youth side earlier this season.
The Right to Dreams Academy graduate, the Dusseldorf-based club on a three-year deal on a free transfer.
So far, he has scored one goal in caps for the first team of Fortuna Dusseldorf.
