Belgian giants RSC Anderlecht have been asked by Dutch club PSV Eindhoven to pay the full wage of Ghanaian defender Derrick Luckassen, SPORTSworldGhana.com can exclusively report.
The Belgian Pro League outfit did not use the purchase option of 5 million euros tag on the versatile Dutch-born Ghanaian international after joining them on loan last season.
SPORTSworldGhana.com can report that Anderlecht still wants to bring the defender to the Lotto Park next season following his outstanding display at the club, helping them to finish 8th on the log in what seems to be a terrible season for the club.
SPORTSworldGhana.com has gathered that PSV is prepared to cooperate on condition that the Purple & White take over the full wages of Derrick Luckassen before he’s finally loaned to the club again.
The player in one of his interviews after joining Anderlecht on loan last season, revealed that he would want to make a permanent to the club after failing to excel at the PSV.
Anderlecht paid half of the wage costs last season but the player’s parent club now want them to take over the full 100% wage.\
The lanky defender who can play as right-back and also as a centre-back, is officially written to the Ghana Football Association to commence processes for a nationality switch to enable him play for the Black Stars.
