English clubs QPR, Preston North End and Swansea City are among the clubs interested in signing Ghanaian striker Jalal Abdullai from Swedish side Elfsborg.
The 21-year old attacker who has returned to Swedish club Elfsborg after scoring nine goals in 24 games while on loan at Norwegian side Molde FK, is being monitored closing by the two clubs over a possible signing this Winter, according to TEAMtalk.
Sports World Ghana understands that Swansea City are ready to launch a bid in the region of £2m for the Elfsborg striker.
Abdullai’s contract with the Swedish side runs until 2028, but it seems there’s growing uncertainty over his future at the club.
It’s claimed Swansea are impressed by the player’s physicality and ability to run in behind defences.
Swans insiders haven played down suggestions the forward is a serious target in this window, and have neither confirmed nor denied that a bid could soon be on the table.
Abdullai can also play out wide, which is another area Swans are keen on strengthening before the window closes.
The club had initially made Jesurun Rak-Sakyi their top transfer target this month, but their pursuit of the Crystal Palace winger looks to have stalled.
