Racism must end in football -Muntari

Ghanaian Player Sulley Muntari says he felt emotionally bad after he was racially abused by Cagliari fans.

The 32-year-old who plays for seri A side Pescara,walked off the pitch in their game against Cagliari on Sunday.

He took his complaints to referee Daniele Minelli,who ignored him and showed him a yellow card for dissent.

Many have commended the Ghanaian for taking such a bold step.Speaking after the game,Muntari wants an end to racism in football.

“Its not made towards you so you don feel it but i really do feel it”

“its not a thing that you wanna see that happens and with ignorance like that, i hope that people will learn and make sure that it goes away”he added.
