Fit-again Ghana striker Raphael Dwamena says he will “eternally grateful” to FC Blau-Weib Linz for offering him the opportunity to revive his football career.
The Austrian club on Saturday 25th June, 2021, announced the capture of Ghana striker.
The 25-year-old center-forward impressed greatly in the trial training session over the past few days and has been offered a deal by the club.
The Ghanaian International signed a contract until 2023, with an option for an additional year.
Speaking after signing the two-year deal, Dwamena expressed happiness.
“I am so happy that Blau-Weiß Linz gives me the chance and I will be eternally grateful. I would like to repay that with performance on the pitch. My athletic path is far from over. I feel very fit and want to achieve great things with blue and white in the next 2-3 years ”
Dwamena has previously had stints with Red Bull Salzburg, FC Lustenau, FC Zurich, Levante, and Saragossa.
The striker whose move to English Premier League side Brighton collapsed as a result of a heart problem, has been inactive for some time now due to his troubling heart issues.
