Qatari champions Al Gharafa have unveiled Ghana defender Rashid Sumaila after a week of signing him on loan from Kuwaiti side Al Qadisiya.
Qatari for the first time presented the Ghanaian stalwart defender to the fans at the Thani bin Jassim Stadium Conference room on Wednesday Afternoon
Sumaila said that he is glad to join the club and will work hard to help them win the league.
Sumaila said in his first Press Conference. “I am very excited joining this great team, Al Gharafa is one of the top teams in Qatar with a rich history and I will do my best and help the team to win more trophies,”
“My time in Kuwait was good. It was not easy leaving the fans as they have been there for me and cherish what I have done for Al Qadisiya but I had to move on loan as I seek to exploit other avenues,”
