Communications director of the Uganda Football Association, Ahmed Hussein has declared that the Cranes are “more than ready” to face the Black Stars.
The Cranes who secured an Africa Cup of Nations(AFCON) ticket last month after their victory over Comoros have been preparing towards the game which is scheduled to come off on the 7th of next month.
An optimistic Ahmed disclosed that his team have been preparing for the crucial encounter with Ghana and are more than ready to cause an upset when the two sides meet next month in the first game of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.
“We are more than ready. Preparations started after the victory over Comoros. We are no more celebrating but preparing for the game against Ghana. The team have been summoned today and we are optimistic by 7th October we will have a solid team to face Ghana” Ahmed told Takoradi based Spice FM
Ghana will host the Ugandans in the first game of the 2018 world cup qualifiers on October 7.
